WISP Global formed in 2016 to deliver a shared vision of providing creative but proven designs in a modular way so as to provide reliable, functional solutions for its clients.
Founded via the merging of several long standing independent consultancies WISP Global has a process focused but multi-disciplinary team capable of delivering solutions that work. With a combined experience of over 100 years, the team are a dynamic but professional group who are knowledge leaders within their respective fields.
Having worked for suppliers, consultants, contractors and water utilities WISP Global offers a unique perspective to project delivery, understanding the key drivers for the different organisations it serves and ensuring that these are at the forefront of its designs.

Mark Norman CEng MIChemE
Principal Process Engineer / Engineering Manager
Mark is a Principal Process Engineer and the Engineering Manager at WISP and has worked in chemical, bulk pharmaceutical, nuclear and water industries. Mark has experience ranging from strategic planning through design, installation and commissioning, with over 35 years of industry experience.
Rob Gandy MCIWEM.C.WEM C.Sci
Principal Process Engineer
Rob is a Principal Process Engineer at WISP, specialising in potable water treatment. Having worked in the industry for over 32 years with 25 of those within the Process Engineering department at United Utilities, he has extensive experience in the detail design and on-site commissioning of water treatment facilities.
Leigh Wharton
Project Technical Lead
Leigh has worked internationally in numerous countries commissioning water and wastewater plants. His technical expertise and practical thinking make him the perfect commissioning engineer and a great asset to WISP, with over 25 years experience.
Ryan Winch HNC
CAD / BIM Manager
Ryan is our CAD / BIM Manager who has an extensive background in the Autodesk AEC software collection. Ryan has gained experience in Civil, Structural and Mechanical disciplines whilst working on a wide variety of Water and Waste Water Infrastructure and Non-Infrastructure projects from feasibility through to as built phases. Ryan has over 18 years experience within the Water Industry.

Principal Civil Engineer
Mahmood is a Principal Civil Engineer with over 45 years experience within the industry, formerly being a Lead Civil Engineer at Stantec.
